Sustainability Efforts

Tirtyl Tip is the name of their give-back program, they pass on a portion of each sale to a social cause that they care about. Starting with collecting ocean-bound plastic waste, they’re now working on a series of new partnerships in 2022, from marine-life conservation, clean-water initiatives and advocating for plastic policy reforms. 

For every tablet sold, they pick up the equivalent of 1 plastic bottle from the ocean. This is equivalent to 0,42 lbs of ocean plastic. Since launching they have helped collect over 1 million bottles of plastic waste through their partnership with Plastic Bank. Much of the plastic is processed and up-cycled into the private sector as new consumer goods.
